A few months after the entry into force of Law No. 132/2025, which for the first time introduced into the Italian Criminal Code the offence of unlawful dissemination of AI-generated content, the Italian Senate has begun examining Bill No. 644, which aims to establish a framework for the protection of personal identity in the age of AI.
