Stefania Bariatti appointed member of the EU Commission’s Group of experts on bankruptcy law

Stefania Bariatti, formerly a partner and currently an Of counsel of Chiomenti Studio Legale, has been appointed by the European Commission as member of the working group on bankruptcies and restructurings focusing on the harmonization of laws governing insolvency and financial difficulties faced by enterprises.

The group of experts hailing from various countries will collaborate with the EU Commission in drafting a potential legislative proposal which will include the minimum basic rules on debt restructuring and insolvency.
