The "Southern Decree," published in the Official Gazette on September 19th of last year, provides for the establishment, starting from January 1st, 2024, of the new Single Special Economic Zone (ZES Unica), which will encompass the territories of the regions Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sicily, and Sardinia.

Companies that are already operational and those that will settle in the SEZ will be able to benefit from significant administrative and bureaucratic simplifications, as well as substantial tax incentives.
