With its judgment of 9 March 2021 , the Court of Justice of the European Union has once again ruled on copyright and in particular on the issue of the so-called framing.

In the World Wide Web, the term framing refers to a particular technique whereby on a web page, the user displays directly within a frame of the page, the contents of another web page to which a link refers. In relation to this practice, the rights of the authors of the content placed on the network, who may not be keen on having their own site or content included in someone else's website, come into play.
