Decree-Law No. 59 of 3 May 2016, subsequently amended and converted into law by Law No. 119 of 30 June 2016, introduced for the first time in our legal system a discipline for the creation of so-called non-possessory movable pledges.

A provision that completes the relevant regulations and operating procedures and that will allow market operators to finally make full use of this innovative type of guarantee.
