Newsalert Department of Finance and Regulated Entities - SACE guarantee on bonds and debt securities

On June 4, 2020, the Senate definitively approved the bill (the "DDL") converting Decree Law No. 23 of April 8, 2020 containing urgent provisions to support the liquidity of companies and exports, published in the Official Gazette No. 94 of April 8, 2020 (the so-called "Liquidity Decree").
Article 1 of the Decree provides for temporary measures to support the liquidity of companies and, in particular, allows SACE S.p.A. ("SACE") to grant, until 31 December 2020, guarantees for financing in any form to companies, in favour of banks, national and international financial institutions and other entities authorised to exercise credit in Italy.
