Newsalert - Commission Delegated Regulation as regards the clearing obligation and the riskmanagement procedures under EMIR: changes in view of a possible “hard Brexit”

On 13 March 2019, two new regulations were published in the Official Journal of the European Union concerning the EMIR rules on derivative contracts, namely, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/396 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/397.

The New Regulations introduce a specific exemption from the clearing and margining obligations contained in the EMIR rules.
