Chiomenti strengthens its Tax Department with the arrival of Giovanni Carpenzano. Carpenzano was the Head of Tax Services at the Intesa Sanpaolo Group from 2007 until recently.
Previously, he had held the same role at Banca Commerciale Italiana and Banca Intesa. Carpenzano is considered the leading expert in Italy on banking and financial taxation, in addition to being one of the most respected in-house tax experts in Italy.
