IPBA (Inter-Pacific Bar Association) meeting and conference: 11-14 October 2019, Milan

Chiomenti hosts IPBA (Inter-Pacific Bar Association) Mid-Year Conference in Milan, that will be held in its first edition in Italy from 11 to 14 October 2019, with the participation of Partner Sara Marchetta.

The Inter-Pacific Bar Association ("IPBA") is an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live in, or otherwise have a strong interest in, the Asia-Pacific Region. Established in April 1991, it has grown to become the preeminent legal association in this Region, with membership drawn from throughout the world, and currently has over 1300 members from over 65 jurisdictions worldwide.

The Firm welcomes the Conference participants with a cocktail reception that will be held at Armani Bamboo Bar on 12 October 2019.

IPBA Mid-Year Conference will be held On 14 October 2019, with the scientific support of the Firm and under the patronage of Italian Bar Association, focusing the issue “The evolution of protectionism: circulation of investment, goods and services, people and judgments”.

The Conference will be attended by Chiomenti of Counsel Giulio Napolitano, moderating the session on “Circulation of Investments” that will be held at 10 a.m. at Fondazione Forense. In the afternoon, Chiomenti of Counsel Stefania Bariatti, will be participating as moderator in the session on “Circulation of Judgments and Investigations” scheduled at 15.45 at Spazio Chiosetto.
