STEFANO CARASSO

Stefano focuses his practice on Intellectual Property and unfair competition, assisting Italian and foreign clients with judicial and out-of-court disputes regarding trademarks, patents, and copyright. In addition to IP litigation, Stefano has gained experience in IP consultancy and drafting, with a particular focus on the creation and management of joint ventures centered on the industrial development and application of intangible assets. He regularly advises on collaboration agreements, IP rights management, and dispute resolution. Furthermore, Stefano is active in the field of the IP Finance, assisting clients in the economic valuation of their intangible assets, the drafting of related financing agreements, and the management of investments involving patents, trademarks, and other Intellectual Property rights.
Beyond his legal practice, Stefano is the author of several academic publications and a regular contributor to leading national industry journals. He is also a frequent speaker at events sponsored by the Milan and Turin Chambers of Commerce, as well as by national and international associations.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

Since 2022, he has been lecturing the IP Finance course "Access to Finance: the IP as Collateral" at the two-year postgraduate Master of Laws “Digital Innovation and Legal Compliance”, in partnership with SAA - School of Management and University of Turin.  Since 2025, he has been lecturing the course“The Harmonization of Intellectual Property in the EU: a critical analysis of unitary titles” at the Catholic University of Lyon.
