Sara mainly advises Italian and international clients on derivative financial instruments, in relation to statutory (including bankruptcy matters) and regulatory issues, including issues pertaining to the provision of investment services (MiFID II) and the EMIR rules. She has gained a wealth of experience in drafting and negotiating derivative agreements under the ISDA or similar documents under Italian law, as well as repurchase and securities lending agreements (GMSLA, GMRA).
Sara also has experience in negotiating derivative agreements in the areas of finance, project finance, securitisation, covered bonds; she has advised banks on litigation and arbitration proceedings relating to derivatives and the provision of investment services.
