Law No. 182/2025 (the so-called “Simplification Act”) strengthens the “pharmacy of services” model by broadening the range of services that may be provided by pharmacies and by introducing more flexible organizational rules.

In the latest newsalert, Chiomenti Professionals analysed the measure, which simplifies the management of chronic therapies and introduces mechanisms to prevent shortages of medicinal products. The regulatory requirements for the expansion of services were also examined, as well as the innovative possibility of delivering healthcare services in premises separate from those in which the pharmacy is located.
