FRANCESCO TEDESCHINI

He advises Italian and international clients on Corporate - Private M&A, Public M&A, public companies, banking, insurance and others regulated entities with a focus on complex transactions such as mergers, divisions, acquisitions, capital increases, joint ventures, takeover bids or exchange tender offerings and listed securities. The last major transactions in which he assisted were the take-over of Banca Popolare di Sondrio by BPER, the sale by Allianz to Unicredit of UniCredit Allianz Vita. Previous assignments included the acquisition by BPER of Banca Carige, the capital increase of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the acquisition of Tua Assicurazioni by Allianz S.p.A., the merger between Unipol Gruppo and UnipolSai, and the systemic rescue of Eurovita by the major Italian Companies through Cronos Vita (completed in October 2025 with the spin-off of Cronos in favor of Generali, Unipol, Poste Vita, Fideuram and Allianz). 
He has been ranked as a leading lawyer by prominent international legal guides such as Chambers, IFLR 1000 and Legal 500.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Francesco Tedeschini joined the Firm in 1988 and became a Partner in 1998. From 2018 to 2021 he was the Firm's Partner of Reference. He has been then appointed as the Firm's Chairman in 2021 and is still in that position.
