EU, Competition and International Law
In the EU law practice area, the Firm advises on the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital, on State aid issues, and in the liberalised business sectors (such as energy, transport, and communications).
The Firm also advises on national and EU competition law, assists in the analysis and filing of concentration notifications to the European Commission and to the competent national authorities and assists in cases relating to abuse of dominant position and agreements restricting competition before the European Commission, the Autorità garante della concorrenza e del mercato and the Autorità per le garanzie nelle comunicazioni.
Studio Chiomenti's Brussels office services the Firm's clients in connection with extra judicial and judicial EU and international matters. It represents clients in proceedings before national and international bodies and the European institutions, such as the European Commission, the Court of First Instance and the Court of Justice.
